CCC #12 Chipped Enamel

Here we are with another fantastic technique from the Compendium of Curiosities book by Tim Holtz!
Having so much fun over at Linda's blog,  Studio L3, with these challenges!
I used a variety of Tim's idea ology trinkets including the Ornate Plate, stencil letters and spinner.
The silver flowers were Memory Makers in a variety pack.
Black Distress embossing powder for this technique on the letters and daisy flower.
I also painted one of the metal flowers with Peeled Paint Distress Crackle paint.
The paper comes from Club Scrap's Great Outdoors and Paisley Collections.
The base green is DCWV and is embossed with a corrugated cardboard style embossing folder.  And I believe it was a Cuttlebug brand.
The script stamp is from Club Scrap's Collections kit.
I inked the edges of the papers with Adirondack Jet Black Archival ink.
The jewels are from my stash.

CCC #9 Distress Crackle

I absolutely love this Ranger product!   The Distress Crackle paint comes in so many different colors and cracks perfectly to give that awesome grungy look.
I created this little panel to use on an easel card.  My good friend Ron let me use his die cutter and Tim Holtz Alterations dies to create it.   I really love the dimensionality of this die set!

Faded Jeans, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress inks to distress the edges of bird and brown matte.
Picket Fence Distress Crackle
Bird Cage distressed with Vintage Photo, Peeled Paint, and Walnut Stain inks.
Brown paper from Club Scrap
Flower Punches from Martha Stuart and McGill and
small center flowers from Sizzix Die Hawaiian flowers Sizzlet set.
Jump Rings and Token from Tim Holtz Idea ology.
I removed the pearls from a section of vintage jewelry for the dangles.

CCC #8 Inking Grunge

So,  I am just finishing this weeks challenge at the last minute because my family and I have been on a week vacation to Florida to visit my brother and his family.   Such a wonderful time.

This project idea comes from a terrifically talented lady named Laura who's blog I just recently discovered! She is so creative in her projects but this one grabbed me!   Here is a link to her BLOG!

I am going to be heading to Club Scrap's Retreat in October and thought this Neck Pouch would be a handy item to keep my credit card, id and spending money in.   I could also keep a pair of scissors in here too.

I used grungepaper and a variety of Tim Holtz distress Inks including Broken China,  Faded Jeans, Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain.   And after doing the technique,  I realized there may be a problem with the inks still smudging so I used an Acrylic sealer all over the piece to water proof it.  Thanks for the advice Tim!
The trinkets are all Idea ology.   And the image on the fragment came from the Backgrounds and Borders sheet from Club Scrap's Body and Soul monthly kit.
The stamping on the pouch uses Club Scrap's script stamp from Collections,  and a variety from the new unmounted rubber sheet from the Be Wonderful remix.
