Photography Assignment Challenges!

Here is a layout I created digitally inspired by Wendy B's Photography Assignment Challenge over on the Club Scrap Community Forum!    We are required as part of the assignment this month to use a Beatle's song as inspiration and to make sure we include details on the camera and settings used.

I decided to take photos of the Poppy that I have had for many years,  this being the first year it has ever bloomed!   Very exciting.   So I waited days for it to bloom and it finally did.   The color was a complete surprise.   I had gotten it from a friend and never knew the color.   Until now!  WOW!

Operation Write Home Blog Hop coming soon...

Tomorrow I am going to be part of a blog hop for Operation Write Home.
I had learned about this program through Club Scrap when we were asked to bring handmade greeting  cards to the Annual Retreat in Wisconsin in 2010.
We were all so happy to create these cards for such a worthy cause.

As a thank you for visiting the blog I am providing the cutting instructions for creating the cards you will see tomorrow which I created using 3  8.5 x 11 sheets of Club Scrap cardstock.   Just click on the image and download the instructions.   Enjoy,  and don't forget to stop back tomorrow to see my cards!

Squirrely Challenge Cascading Images

I loved Club Scrap's Come Sail Away kit for April 2012.
For me this captures life on Cape Cod perfectly!
Nancy over at Squirrely Art Blog challenged us to use this Technique Junkies technique from their April 2012 Newsletter.
I inked the background matte to look like fog or clouds.
Thanks for stopping by and make sure you go over to Nancy's blog to check out the other participants work!
