Club Scrap Wisteria Blog Hop!

Good Morning Blog Hoppers!

Welcome to the Club Scrap Wisteria Blog Hop.

If you have arrived here from Karen at the Club Scrap Creates Blog are in the right spot.

I saw a neat wooden hot glue gun stand on Pinterest and suggested to my hubby that it would make a fun DIY project.  He hadn't gotten around to it yet and I thought, what the heck, I can make that using my Club Scrap pizza box.  I gathered my tools and set out to cut the pieces I would need to recreate the project.
some of the materials used in creating my project

In order to create a sturdier structure,  I layered the pieces of pizza box cardboard first and then cut the pieces to size. These layers are glued together with Club Scrap Book Binding Glue. There is a 4 layer base piece that measures 3 x 8 inches. Then the glue gun stand and glue stick holder are both constructed with 2 layers of pizza box cardboard.

I covered all the pieces with the beautiful Wisteria Kit papers.

Mini Pizza Box

I just love this cute little Mini Pizza Box!

The directions can be found on Split Coast Stampers HERE.

I needed a small box for a gift card present for Shannon's friends birthday party.

This comes together quick and easy.

Just added a sticker to the front with a Happy Birthday stamped sentiment and done!

I used a ribbon from my stash to hold the box closed and Shannon added a Spongebob sticker from hers.

Supplies used:

Gurnet Girl layout

I attended my very first Scrapbooking Pajama Party last night over at iClassygirl's Spreecast.

Tiare hosts this live web show once a month and last night she was used the Club Scrap Wisteria kit.

She created a 1 page scrapbook layout and a card within approximate 1 hour time frame.
layout sketch

We were encouraged to follow the provided sketch, have our supplies ready ahead of time, and create along with her during the live broadcast.

I chose papers from Club Scrap's Cape Cod kit and sat down to create during the show with my 4 pre selected photos of Shannon at the Gurnet on Memorial Day weekend.

It was so fun to chat (even though there were a few technical difficulties) and loved Tiare's positive attitude even when having to deal with those issues.   She always had a smile on her face.

I deviated a bit from the original sketch but had fun with it and loved my final result.

Other supplies used:
silver brads from stash
Tim Holtz die cut mini tattered florals in Club Scrap Study in Red red cardstock
Martha Stewart daisy punch in white cardstock
Sun punched Club Scrap Cape Cod navy blue cardstock

I didn't have time to create the card,  but really enjoyed watching Tiare's creative process as she created her card on the spot.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.
