Club Scrap Boardwalk Blog Hop

Welcome to Club Scrap June Blog Hop featuring the Boardwalk kit. If you have arrived from the super creative Roni's Inkstains Blog then you are in the right place. If not, hop back to Karen's post at the Club Scrap Blog to see a complete list of all the talented bloggers.

Create a 12x12 layout filled with dimension and depth.

Select 12x12" papers from the Boardwalk Deluxe kit.

Make simple wavy cuts in the top Boardwalk Sage 12x12" print along the left hand side of the top paper layer with a sharp craft knife. Leave space at the top and bottom of the page in tact.

Lay the top cut layer over the second layer and make the initial wavy cuts. Remove the top layer and connect the cuts.

Continue making wavy cuts in all the papers.

Trim the middle cut layers to 5.5x12".

Add 3D foam squares to the backs of all the cut layers and attach to the top layer.

Attach a 6.5x11" black foam (recycled from shipment packaging) to the last 12x12 Boardwalk Deep Blue uncut base paper. Then lay the layered pieces onto the black foam to complete the page.

Create a faux boardwalk element with craft sticks distressed with Onyx Hybrid ink. Visit my Club Scrap Blog Post HERE for another faux boardwalk idea.

Attach a strip of 1.5x4.5" Sage paper to the back of the sticks to hold in place.

Add to the layout across the dimensional paper "marsh" on the layout.

Embellish with crab and lobster stickers. Visit my Club Scrap Blog Post HERE for details.

Add a title strip using the sticker technique and the Boardwalk Digital Kit
Thanks so much for joining us and I hope you will share your Boardwalk artwork using the linky party over at the Club Scrap Blog!
