Pinspiration strikes again! Check out the link to see Amy's gorgeous rolled paper wreath.
Here is a closer look at how this project came together.
Decorate three 12x12" plain papers using a variety of stamps. Trim the Dahlia 12x12" prints and decorated plains into 6x6" squares.
Punch along two adjoining edges with flower border punch. Form each square into a cone and secure with hot glue.
Continue to roll papers to create a wreathe shape.
Cut two large circles out of Pizza Box cardboard for the base. Glue them together in opposite grain directions.
|Mark a hole in the center of the base.|
Adhere the rolled papers onto the base around the marked center dot using hot glue.
Create a center piece for the wreathe using an upside down stack of Pizza Box cardboard circles. Finish off the raw edges with Dahlia Butterfly washi tape.
Attach a stamped quote to nested scalloped and circle die cuts.
Die cut butterfly shapes from Dahlia Pink, Yellow, Purple and Big Top Light Green papers. Die cut butterfly detail from black paper from stash.
Add additional color using inks and paint to the butterfly shapes. Adhere the black detail die over them using Club Scrap Glue Pen.
Attach the butterflies to complete the wreathe.
