Create a lovely home decor piece with the Color Me Happy collection and a Club Scrap Pizza Box. The inspiration for my project came from this altered art piece I saw on Pinterest.
Here is how the project came together.
Glue double thickness pieces of pizza box boards together to create a box.
Cover the box with Teal plain paper.
Layer all sides with panels cut from the Deluxe White Flowers print paper.
Paint wooden feet with teal metallic acrylic paint and once dry adhere to the bottom of the box Club Scrap Bookbinding Glue.
Stamp the sentiment onto Teal plain paper with Versamark ink. Sprinkle with silver embossing powder and heat set to melt. Layer sentiment onto Blue plain panel. Embellish with fussy cut dragonfly image.
Stamp images from the Art Nouveau and Jumbo UM stamp sets in Versamark ink onto Brown, Teal, and Blue plain papers. Sprinkle with silver embossing powder and heat set to melt.
Add sparkle and glimmer with various colors of glitter glues on the dragonflies and gel pens on the flowers.
Fussy cut the images and attach each with glue dots to varying lengths of blue coated wire.
Puncture holes in the top of the box with a paper piecing tool or pin. Insert the wires carefully into the holes.
Let's take a closer look at the finished piece.
Thanks so much for dropping by!
