Club Scrap Pattern Play Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Club Scrap June Blog Hop featuring the Pattern Play kit. If you have arrived from the super creative Tina's Finding Your Niche Blog then you are in the right place. If not, hop back to Karen's post at the Club Scrap Blog to see a complete list of all the talented bloggers.

Create fun and funky layouts with the Pattern Play Deluxe Kit paired with adorable nature photos.

Gather papers from the Deluxe kit and follow the cutting instructions from Club Scrap's Assembly Line Scrapbooking Idea Deck Vol. 1 -- Jack of Diamonds.

Round the corners of the photo mats to compliment the designs found in the Pattern Play artwork. Tip: Save time by stacking the photo mats and rounding corners simultaneously with the 1/2" punch on a Corner Chomper.

Create an ombre effect on Wood Words for the title. Add Neon Green ink directly from the pad onto the words with an upward swiping motion.

Finish with the Neon Yellow ink swiping downward and overlapping the green inked area slightly to create a blended effect.

Adhere the title to the layout with Club Scrap Bookbinding glue applied with a Needle-tipped Applicator.

Gather the photos for the layouts.

Crop the photos and round the corners to match the photo mats.

Embellish with silver ribbon from the Fiber PackEnamel Dots and a stamped sentiment from the Jumbo UM set.

Let's take another look at the finished layouts.

Thanks so much for joining me today.

  2. Uh, great tip about the Corner Chomper. I would never have thought to do that without someone a whole lot smarter than me pointing it out! Love all the little details on the right side of the layout.
